I have been behind with Elder Bird's letters, so here are the letters from the last month and some of his pictures he sent home.

He is still in Acapulco for another transfer, he will have been there for 6 months after this transfer is over.
Hey Family,

Well I am still here in Acapulco so that is cool, I am excited hopefully everything goes well for this change here. It is werid to think that I am going to be here in Acapulco for 6 months after this change so yeah I am excited. Well Sounds like everything is going well at home. Things here are good. This last week went by really fast for us we used a lot of time doing service this week so that took alot of our time. Then the rest of the week was kind of slow a lot of our investigators we couldnt find this week so that was kind of disappointing, but oh well hopefully this week we can find them again. Also this week we were able to find a couple new investigators so that was cool one of them is a guy named Diego he seems really cool he has an interesting story that we are finding out at as the time goes on, and then also we are excited to hopefully be able to start teaching some of the family of Ernestina and  Juan who were just baptized, so that would be cool if we can teach them as well. Weird to think that it is pretty much May, oh speaking of which we are pretty sure that we can talk for mothers day through skype but I have no Idea how to use it so if you want to set up my an account and then explain to me how to use it next week we can make the plans for Mothers day in two weeks. Well that is pretty much if for this last week, hope that everything goes well at home this week.

Hey Family,

How is everything going at home? Sounds like everything is going well and not much has changed. Well this last week went by really quickly we had our mission conference on Tuesday here in Acapulco so that was nice not having to go anywhere. It was a good conference I liked it a lot and then it was also fun to see all my friends and old companions. Especially since Elder Gosnell is going to finish his mission next week so that was cool to see him one more time before he goes home. Then also this last week we spent a lot to make sure that the Family of Juan Ernestina and Angel could all get baptised and everything worked out so that was good it was a way spiritual baptism so that was fun and then yesterday at church the talks in Sacrament meeting we mostly all focused on the family and temple so that was cool hopefully eveything goes well for them and in a year they can go to the temple. That was the most exciting things from this week and then kind of disappointing since we werent able to really find too many people this week so that is what we are going to be focuesd on this week is finding more investigators, hopefully all goes well this week to find them. Also weird to think that this could be my last week here in Acapulco since changes are next monday so next week I could be writing from a different place we will just have to see what happens. I am also going to try and send some pictures of the past couple weeks hopefully it works out. Well hope that everyone has a good week at home and I will let you know next week what happens with changes.

Hey Family how is everything going at home anything new or exciting? This week we dont really have any time at all to right because we had our interviews with President Spannaus today so that took up a lot of our time so just pretty much last week didnt go to well we had a baptism of Moises so that we the cool part and hopefully this week we will have the baptism of the family we are working with so hopefully everything goes well this week and they can get baptised.  I will write more next week we are just really busy today and I need to finish up for our District meeting quick after this. Then we have tomorrow our mission conference which should be sweet. Things are going good not too much for now. I will write more next week.

Hey Family,

Sounds like everything is going well at home. Sounds like Easter was fun, Easter here is not too exciting, in Mexico since most of the people are Catholic they call this weekend Semana Santa or Holy Week in English so the schools are out for all of last week and all of the week as well so yeah, and since I am in Acapulco this is one of the biggest times for people to come visit so these last couple days have been a little different but not too bad. Things here are going well this week we are going to have the Baptism of Moises a 16 year old kid that is way cool he is way excited about everything, all the things we explain he understands way quickly so hopefully everything goes well this week and there arent any problems, his dad has given him permission so hopefully nothing changes. Then also our family that we have been working with Juan and Ernestina and their kids are doing pretty good we put them with a baptismal date for not this Saturday but the next so hopefully things go well for them, this week was kind of crazy with teaching them so in this week we are going to focus on getting them all ready so they dont have any problems. Those are the main investigatores that we are working with that are closet to getting baptised and then we have a couple others that can hopefully get baptised as well in this month. Time just keeps going fast as always, we only have a couple weeks left in April and then at the end of this month I might be changed so weird to think that I am getting close to 4 months here in Acapulco. We are going to have our Mission Conference next week with Elder Gonzalez from the Presidency of the Seventy so that is exciting. Well hope that everything goes well at home and everyone has a good week.

Hey Family,

How is everything going this week sounds like the weather is still like the crazy Utah weather that I am used to just like last year when it was hot on the first day of conference then snowed on Sunday when I was in the MTC. Crazy to think that I have had 3 of my 4 General Conferences in the mission. The General Conference was awesome I watched the first session in Spanish then the rest in English so that was fun to hear the vocies of all of them this time instead of the translator but either way I enjoyed everything that I heard. I like a lot of the talkes yet again I took a lot of notes to study during the next couple weeks till I get a copy of the Liahona with them. This last week went well were were able to get quite a few of our investigators to go to the conference so that was really cool we are hopefully going to be able to baptize a family this week they are all really cool the wife has had her answer for a couple weeks but we started teaching her husband later so we have been trying to get them all to baptised together so hopefully this weeks is the week if not the next and then we also have investigators that can be baptised hopefully the rest of the month hopefully they all keep progressing and everything goes well. This week was a good week except we werent able to find too many new investigators so hopefully we can find some more this week. Well thats about it for the last week hopefully everything goes well this week at home for everyone.

PS President Spannaus was called to be an Area Seventy in the confernce saturday crazy, and he hasnt even finished his time a mission president. Dont know if you noticed
Hey Family,

How is everything going at home? Anything new or exciting besides the new mall. Things here are good this last week was a little stressful but thats alright. As most of you heard this week we had a earthquake here. This one didnt seem as strong to me as the other one I felt but it was longer. No real damage happened close to where I am, further south there was problems more towards the next state here in Mexico, so that was interesting. The Earthquake actually happened during my frist District Meeting so that was interesting I dont think I will forget that. This last week went pretty well the problem was that not too many of our investigators went to church, we are still not sure exactly why and that is what we are working on right now to figure out, hopefully everything goes well this week and we can have our investigators go to watch Gerneral Conference. I am way excited for General Conference again it should be really good. It is weird to think that this will be my 3rd General Conference in the mission. We Also heard that we will have another Mission Conference with Elder Walter Gonzalez from the Presidency of the Seventy in a couple weeks so that should be cool. I am staying here in Acapulco atleast untill the end of April so hopefully things still keep going as they have been and we can keep finding the families that are ready to hear the gospel. We are still working with one of our families Hernestina and Juan to get them ready to be baptised in two weeks hopefully everything works out with them. Well thats about it for this week I will write a little more next week we are a tiny bit short on time this week since washing our clothes took longer than we thought. Well hope that everyone has a good week at home.
